National Bikers Roundup 2018
One of the major biking events to happen in the biking community and in the biking sector, which happened this year too is the National Bikers Roundup 2018. This largest camp in the motorcycle rally is said to be happening in the country of The United States of America. The rally National Bikers Roundup 2018 is generally conducted and organized by a group of motorcycle clubs who belong to the African American community. While the National Bikers Roundup 2018 happened in a given location, this seems to be changing every year. But for every ten years, the National Bikers Roundup 2018 will come back to the City of Kansas which is located in Missouri. This is because the City of Kansas in the state of Missouri is the founding city for the National Bikers Roundup 2018.
This particular year the rally was able to witness almost 1000 motorcycle clubs in the event of participation. While these numbers are huge the most amazing fact is that in the said numbers almost half of the participants were the black women. This major event which got its popularity increased over the past years had its first event occur in the year 1977. This event which happened for the first time was conducted by Dallas Thibodeaux and Rozell Nunn Jnr. The event which happened for the first time saw the participation of almost 49 riders.
After that, this event grew in size, which has now come up to the stage of a five-day event. In the recent years, this event is able to witness almost 30000 participants. The major attendees of these events are the ones who enjoy camping, love to get involved in exhibitions, are eager to participate in parades etc. This list goes long as the events keep adding. One such event which grew popular over the recent years and has managed to get a lot of attraction is the stunt events. Apart from these the list of other motorcycle related experience and stunts which provide entertainment to the crowds also seem to make its way. The ‘biggest gut contest' and the drag racing were few such events which made it to the list and grew popular over the years.
This event has its main motto to serve and unite the Black motorcycle community. Its other mission is to promote camaraderie. These lists of missions led to the involvement in the event to the part of the donation. From the year 1998 participants were involved in food and monetary donation. This tradition kept continuing every year and the participants help the local community by supporting local paid food programs apart from food and monetary donation. By the year 2000 alone the donations seem to reach a worth of around $9000 and the quantity was close to 16000 tonnes.
Since there were many issues relating to racism in the given years around the region of the USA, this event did not get major attention and publicity and media views. This feeling was shared by the motorcycle community too. But in the later years this changed and the event now even gets support from manufacturers.
