The Warlocks Motorcycle Club, founded in 1967 by ex-US Navy servicemen, has become one of the most recognized one-percenter motorcycle gangs, with chapters spanning the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK.

The Warlocks biker club was founded in Florida in 1967 by United States ex-naval servicemen who served on the aircraft USS Shangri-La. The club is a one-percenter motorcycle club with chapters in the US, Canada, Germany, and the UK. It was founded by Tom 'Grub' Freeland in Orlando, Florida.

The club has 11 chapters in Florida, five in Virginia, seven in South Carolina, two in Ohio, four in West Virginia, one in New York, three in Canada, two in Germany, and three in England. Additionally, there are nomads in the US who do not belong to any chapter.

Warlocks' MC History

The Warlocks Motorcycle Club is a one-percenter club with chapters along the East Coast of the United States and internationally. The Mother Chapter is located in Lockhart, Orlando. It started with 13 men in 1967 on an eight-month tour on the USS Shangri-La Aircraft Carrier. These men shared a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, which led them to start the Warlocks Motorcycle Club.

The club's logo features a Phoenix/Wax Bird, and after leaving the ship, Tommy "Grub" Freeland started the first chapter in Lockhart, which is now considered the Warlock Mother Chapter.

The Pennsylvania-based Warlocks chapters believe the name was stolen from them after some Florida members visited the Philadelphia Navy Yards in the late 1960s, but there is no definitive proof of this.

Warlocks Motto/ MC Patch / Colors

The Phoenix symbol used in the Warlocks Motorcycle Club patch is also known as the Warbird. The club's colors are orange, red, and gold. They use the abbreviation WFFW for "Warlocks Forever, Forever Warlocks," a common motto among outlaw motorcycle clubs.

Another popular motto among the Warlocks is: "To find us, you must be good, to catch us, you must be fast, and to beat us, you must be kidding."
